The short version: treat people with respect. The full version is below.
Everyone at Triangle AI Hackathon, participants, mentors, judges, sponsors, and organizers, is expected to treat each other with respect for the full weekend, including in any online spaces connected to the event before or after.
Harassment includes offensive comments related to gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, body size, race, religion, or economic status, along with intimidation, stalking, unwanted photography or recording, disrupting talks or sessions, and unwanted physical contact.
Organizers can remove anyone who violates this policy from the event at their discretion, regardless of registration status.
If you are being harassed or see someone else being harassed, tell an organizer right away, either in person at the help desk or by emailing triangleaihackathon@duke.edu.
